USS Midway Museum - Self Guided Audio Tour
The audio tour brings Midway’s history to life and adds a personal touch to what it was like to live onboard a floating city at sea! If you wish to enjoy the Audio Tour during your visit, we recommend you bring your own wired earbuds/headphones.
Midway’s audio tour is split in three engaging sections:

- Hangar Deck: Hear what it was like to drop anchor, sleep in an enlisted sailors’ bunk or fly a WWII aircraft from Midway Sailors!
- Below Deck: Sick Bay, Galley, Laundry and Engine Room are just some of the spaces you can explore and listen to Midway sailors describe their daily life aboard.
- Cost: $45
- Thursday January 30
- Meet in hotel lobby at 9:45 AM

ACCESSIBILITY: The Midway is a retired aircraft carrier commissioned in 1945. Since our start as a museum, we have made many modifications to improve accessibility for guests with mobility difficulties or other challenges. We are dedicated to providing the Midway Magic to every guest.
With the addition of several elevators and access routes, Midway maximizes wheelchair accessibility to museum exhibits. ASL: The Midway offers an American Sign Language (ASL) tour and written audio tour script for guests who experience hearing impairment. The ASL Tour comes in the form of a 3.5” touchscreen device where an ASL interpreter can be seen signing tour information. It is closed-captioned. We also offer an Audio Descriptive tour that covers highlights of the ship for guests who are blind or have low vision. Guests with sighted companions can request the tour devices upon arrival. Guests visiting without a sighted companion can request a volunteer Docent guide to assist with the Audio Descriptive tour.
