Your block of hotel rooms has sold out, will you be contracting more rooms for the conference?
No. Being responsible stewards we will not contract any additional rooms. However, there are 3 Marriott Properties next door that we recommend for lodging. See the Hotel page under the getting here and staying here tab.
I need to cancel my registration. Who should I contact?
Please email email@example.com. The cutoff date for refunds was 12-31-19, your registration and product selections will be allocated to the scholarship fund.
I want to cancel my hotel reservation. How do I do this?
Please be aware that full refunds are available through 12.31.19. On 1.1.20 all room cancellations will be subject to a one night room and tax charge. Please contact the JW Marriott to cancel your reservation.
How do I add products to my cart?
Go to this page and Login with Username and Password > Click on My Progress Bar > Click on product selection or extra event selection. On payment screen, confirm charges of new items to your credit card on file.
What is an Alcathon?
It is continuous meetings that go on 24 hours a day during the length of the conference (unless there is a speaker meeting going on).
When will there be speakers?
There is a speaker every night, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and one on Sunday morning. As a committee, we have decided not to reveal who our speakers will be. It will be a surprise for all and we know you will be delighted!!
Can my friends and I reserve a table at any of the speaker meetings?
No, seating is on a first-come-first-seating basis.
When will the conference schedule be posted on the website?
What is the difference between a Panel and Workshop?
Panels usually consist of a particular topic with three to four speakers sharing their experience and is usually followed by a question and answer period. Workshops are designed to teach or introduce practical skills, techniques or ideas about a selected topic. All topics are AA related and personal experience is shared.
Can we purchase souvenirs at the conference?
No, all souvenirs must be purchased with your registration. No sales at the conference.
Does the IWC pay for scooters, wheelchairs or other accessibility items?
No, but please contact Carolyn R. at 317-201-1004 to assist with acquiring equipment.
