Do I have to buy a dinner package for Friday and/or Saturday night in order to hear those speakers scheduled to talk? Thanks, Linda S

This is a very busy time flying into Phoenix. I cannot find any information on what is happening on Thursday except a tour of Scottsdale. I saw the convention starts on Thursday at noon. What else is happening on Thursday? We need to make plane reservations.

GB, There will be meetings available on Thursday and a Speaker Thursday evening.
We plan on having a "record your story for Grapevine" session available as well.
    Thank you for your inquiry.

The conference opens at noon on Thursday and closes by noon on Sunday.

We have AA topic meetings, panels and workshops throughout the weekend + activities & open hospitality room. The sessions are 1:15 minutes each. We have morning and afternoon sessions with 5-7 topics per session. Our topics are chosen from approved literature, 12x12 and Big Book.

We have four speakers during the conference. Thursday, Friday, Saturday evenings and Sunday morning.

The banquet starts before the speaker meetings. If you want a great experience please buy the food package and sit in the room with the speaker. We will have overflow rooms with screens and audio for your enjoyment if you are unable to attend the banquets.

By purchasing the banquet package you save money and have a cultural experience with entertainment. The energy in the room is something to experience. You might be sitting next to a women with over 50 years of sobriety or meeting women from all over the world. We have the UK, Burundi, Canada, Uganda registered so far. I am amazed how global we have become. You won't be disappointed!

What are the names of the speakers for each night of the conference?
What time is the speaker meeting for each night?
What other hotel accommodations are available with in a short distance from the Sheraton Grand?
All rooms are booked at the Sheraton Grand and Weston. Are there less expensive accommodations ?

Speaker's start at 7pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday + 10 am on Sunday
Banquet doors open at 4:45pm on Friday & Saturday.+ 7 am on Sunday
Please see the lower part of the Hotels tab for list of area hotels & also keep checking back at Sheraton & Westin as there are often cancellations that open up rooms at those hotels. Westin is just 1 1/2 blocks from Sheraton doors. And, we are trying to add some additional rooms at the Westin.
